Main challenge

As Rosen set out to migrate its eCommerce platform in Chile and Peru, the company needed to preserve a seamless checkout experience while replicating existing delivery options and meeting evolving market demands. This required a solution capable of handling logistical complexity and delivering a smooth user experience.

Impact

With Janis Commerce, Rosen successfully tackled both logistics and customer experience challenges during the migration. The flexibility in delivery options and automation of key processes led to greater operational efficiency and increased customer satisfaction.

Rosen found in Janis Commerce the ideal partner to meet its evolving needs. Our end-to-end solution included:

Logistics Configuration Module: We implemented a dedicated module within Janis to configure complex business rules and offer personalized delivery options at checkout. This allowed Rosen to address logistical challenges while enhancing the end-customer experience. The module includes a public Checkout Service (Simulation API), built on a new microservice called Delivery Public. This API takes into account multiple variables such as product type, carrier coverage, delivery points, stock availability, delivery dates, capacity, and costs—among others.

Flexible Delivery Options: Using the Simulation API, the checkout process could generate one or multiple carts, giving customers the flexibility to choose how and when they wanted to receive their orders. For example, they could select in-store pickup for part of their order and schedule home delivery for larger items—or have the entire order delivered to their home in one or more shipments.

Integration with Adobe Commerce: In partnership with Infracommerce, Janis Commerce was integrated with the order management module of Adobe Commerce to seamlessly import orders and update their status based on the progress of preparation and delivery.

Janis Commerce API Ecosystem: Leveraging Infracommerce’s deep knowledge of Adobe Commerce, the new store was connected to the Janis Commerce's API ecosystem. This enabled real-time syncing of stock levels, catalog pricing, picking processes, order status updates, and cancellations.

Automated Invoicing: Order invoicing was fully automated and connected to the order flow within Adobe Commerce.

Efficient Product Cataloging: The product catalog was uploaded in bulk using Janis Commerce's templates, with all data mirrored in Adobe Commerce.
