Desafío

Before Janis, Carrefour Brasil operated with a fragmented ecosystem of systems that separately managed processes such as picking, packing, route planning, and reverse logistics. This model generated high operating costs, hampered scalability, and compromised the consumer experience. There was also a need to expand the availability of products online without losing speed in delivery.

The solution

In partnership with Janis Commerce, Carrefour began to centralize all order management, inventory and logistics on a single platform (unification of 5 systems in a single integrated platform). The technology of Distributed Order Management (DOM) by Janis allowed the intelligent orchestration of orders based on inventory, proximity, and logistics costs. In addition, Janis' composable architecture made it easier to integrate with legacy systems and other partners, accelerating digital transformation.

Physical stores were transformed into fulfillment hubs, eliminating dependence on dark stores and allowing for a more agile and efficient operation.

Testimony

“For me, as the manager responsible for e-commerce at Carrefour Brazil, the greatest benefit of working with Janis is having a centralized and integrated management of data and information. This not only allows me to understand everything that is happening within our operations, but it also supports me in making strategic decisions.”
