On July 30th, Janis Commerce was part of eCommerce Day Uruguay, one of the region's leading digital commerce ecosystem events, held at the Hyatt Centric Montevideo.
As a Master Sponsor, we took part in a day of exchange with retailers, brands, logistics operators, and industry leaders, sharing experiences regarding the challenges facing unified commerce and the role technology and artificial intelligence play in the evolution of operations.
Data and artificial intelligence for smarter decisions
One of the event's highlights was the participation of Andrés Magrini, Regional Sales Manager at Janis Commerce, in a panel alongside Pablo Silvera Agós, from Grupo Vierci Uruguay, and Juan Muxí, from PedidosYa.
During the discussion, they analyzed how data, metrics, and artificial intelligence are redefining how retailers and companies make strategic decisions within increasingly complex operations.
Key topics discussed included:
- The value of data in optimizing real-time decision-making.
- How artificial intelligence helps improve operational efficiency in omnichannel environments.
- The importance of having reliable metrics to forecast demand and optimize execution.
- The challenges companies face in building more agile, scalable, and integrated operations.
The conversation highlighted that digital transformation is no longer just about adopting new technologies, but about turning operational information into faster, more accurate, and smarter decisions.
A space to connect with the retail ecosystem
In addition to participating in the panel, the Janis Commerce team welcomed clients, partners, and industry professionals to their booth to discuss the current challenges of unified commerce and demonstrate how an operational orchestration platform can centralize inventory, orders, logistics, and channels into a single layer of intelligence.
Throughout the day, Andrés Magrini, Bruno Bellini, and Norberto Cerasale were on hand, sharing use cases and experiences with companies looking to optimize their operations through automation and artificial intelligence.
