El Argentina eCommerce Day 2025 was a special edition of the most important Digital Commerce event in the region, celebrating 20 years of the eCommerce Institute together with the Argentine Chamber of Electronic Commerce (CACE). In that context, Janis Commerce participated by sharing a success story with GDN Group, one of the main multivertical retail groups in Latin America.
The case was presented by Francisco Mato, Co-Founder and CEO of Janis Commerce, and Rodrigo Barceló, CTO of Grupo GDN, who told how the group managed to unify and scale its eCommerce operation in different countries, verticals and formats, maintaining the same level of service and operational control.
Some highlights of the case:
✅ Operational unification in multiple verticals and geographies, with standardized and efficient processes.
✅ Intelligent order assignment using a distributed management model (DOM), which optimizes costs, time and customer experience.
✅ Centralized catalog and inventory control, with real-time visibility of stock in stores, warehouses and darkstores.
✅ Post-sales optimization, with integrated customer service and reverse logistics flows, which improve satisfaction and reduce operating costs.
This case demonstrates how a composable platform such as Janis Commerce can transform operational complexity into a competitive advantage, providing scalability, efficiency and control to large multi-business operations.
We thank everyone who accompanied us at the event and shared their interest in continuing to promote the growth of eCommerce in the region.
