At Janis Commerce, we continue to accompany leading retailers in their digital transformation processes. Today we announce the start of our work with La Despensa Supermarkets, a family business with more than 40 years of experience in Spain.

With a presence in more than 180 physical stores, distributed mainly in Toledo, Madrid and the surrounding area, La Despensa is at a key moment of evolution: sustained growth, optimization of its operation and strengthening of its e-commerce channel.

A strategic step towards digitalization

As part of this process, La Despensa has decided to migrate its online store to Shopify, betting on an agile and scalable platform that allows it to accompany the growth of its digital business.

In this context, Janis Commerce joins as a technological partner to digitize its operation, centralizing the management of orders and operational processes.

This advance represents much more than a technological improvement: it involves a change in the way we operate, with a focus on:

  • Increased efficiency in order execution
  • Comprehensive control of the operation
  • Real-time traceability of each process
  • Better experience for the end customer

Technology for scaling with control

The addition of Janis allows La Despensa to integrate its sales channels and points of operation into a single connected flow, eliminating friction and improving end-to-end business visibility.

Through a flexible and composable platform, the retailer will be able to accompany its growth without losing operational control, optimizing every stage of the journey: from purchase to delivery.

Accompanying the growth of grocery in Europe

This new project reinforces Janis Commerce's presence in the European market and, in particular, in the grocery vertical, where operational efficiency and logistics precision are key to success.

We are proud to accompany La Despensa Supermarkets on this path, providing technology that creates real capabilities for commerce.
