Multipicking without sectors: more orders, fewer routes

More orders, fewer trips. More productivity, less complexity.

In logistics, every meter counts and so does every second. That's why at Janis Commerce we launched Multipicking without sectors, an evolution designed for medium-sized operations that want prepare more orders in less time... without moving a single shelf.

With this new mode, your pickers can consolidate multiple orders into a single round, optimizing the route and reducing downtime, even if your warehouse is not sectorized.

Key Benefits

Increased travel efficiency: a single circuit for multiple full orders.

Reduction of preparation times: fewer steps, more productivity.

Scalability without restructuring: immediate improvements without redesigning the layout.

How does it work?

Traditionally, in the Monopicking each order requires its own route. With the Multipicking without sectors you group several small orders (for example, 1 to 3 units) into a single round, keeping the preparation agile and tidy.

📊 Round/Order Rounds/ Ratio: 1 round = N full orders.

Example: Your picker travels through the warehouse only once and on that journey it prepares 3 express orders of 2 units each. Result: fewer kilometers traveled and green picking KPIs.

Ideal use cases

  • Operations with high volume of small or medium-sized orders.
  • Distribution centers without physical sectorization of the inventory.
  • Preparation Express or Same-Day where speed is key.

At Janis Commerce, we believe that technology should simplify the complex and boost productivity. Multipicking without sectors is another step to make your operations more fast, efficient and scalable, without unnecessary investments or operational interruptions.
